New Year New Decade

I love the start of the year as it’s a time to reflect and to look forward to the year ahead. Never more so than this year – the start of a new decade. It’s an exciting year for me with some great new projects, both home and abroad, and I’ve been commissioned again by several previous clients which is always a privilege!

With the election over, and a clearer direction for the country, business is moving, people are more optimistic about renovating their homes, and the design industry is busy.

We’ve added colour and definition to areas such as the hallways and staircases, with the use of floor runners and wallpapers.

Wallpaper from Nina Campbell.

We coupled existing heirloom antiques, with more contemporary items, for example in this guest bedroom.

Wallpaper from Sanderson at Style Library.

Paintwork from Farrow & Ball.

interior design – study detail with desk, chair and painting, contemporary

Where appropriate, we’ve brought in some contemporary elements with cool colours and clean lines as shown here.

Desk, chair and angle poise lamp from Conran.

Paper sculpture artwork from Surface ICA.

The kitchen is a cool palette, with detailed herringbone tiles from Fired Earth.

The master bedroom is a calm haven of blues and beiges, wonderful patterns and soft textures. The rug is bespoke from The Rug Company, and the wallpaper is printed to order from Lewis and Wood. We had the headboard made in plain textured linen from Stark, fabrics with detailed piping from Colefax and Fowler. The footstool and sofa were made by David Seyfried.

A pop of colour for a grey bathroom, with heavenly Soane Britain fabric for the blind.

A simple French chair from Feather and Black.

A bespoke scatter cushion made from Guy Goodfellow’s fabric collection, piped in luxurious velvet.

A lovely corner to sit and contemplate.

We finish two significant projects within the next few months which I look forward to sharing with you next time. If you have any enquiries I would love to hear from you, and please do follow me on social media for frequent updates.

All best wishes,

Lucy x
